Biotechnology
Biotechnology – the manipulation of living things to produce useful products – most commonly deals with genetic engineering, in which scientists exploit an organism’s DNA for a specific purpose. The ability to facilitate production of therapeutic proteins used to provide therapies for diabetes, cancer, hemophilia, and other diseases makes biotechnology especially important in the field of medicine. Biotechnology’s far reaching impacts also include agricultural production, environmental cleanup, and refining industrial processes.
The voice over portion of any biotechnology e-Learning course must be well informed and committed to maintaining a current awareness of technological advances.
