Forensic Medicine

Career options within the field of forensic medicine require varying degrees of education and training.  A forensic nurse needs an associate’s degree in nursing along with a registered nurse license and a completed certificate or degree program in forensic nursing, while a forensic pathologist requires a medical degree, up to five years of additional training in anatomic, clinical and/or forensic pathology, followed by a year of fellowship or residency in forensic pathology, and finally, certification through the American Board of Pathology.  Forensic Odontologists and Forensic Toxicologists both have a specific learning and certification paths, as well.

Job opportunities in this field are growing at a rapid pace, and pursuing the necessary degree or credentials increasingly means a real investment of time and money in online coursework.  From introductory to advanced, to legal and scientific, the voiceover narration for the study material must command a wide range of ability and nuance, ranging from the very cold matter of fact to passionate matters of the heart.

My voice overs for forensic science learning are typically described as smart, clear, and engaging.
